Ms. Marija Lovrić, CEO and Chief Science and Technology Officer at BIOCentre Zagreb, Croatia, provided valuable insights into the life sciences landscape, specifically addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by start-ups and SMEs. She emphasized BIOCentre’s role in supporting biotechnological innovation and the importance of collaborative networks.
Ms. Anita Vasilevska, Technical Marketing Manager at IMCD Group, Germany, explored the shift towards continuous manufacturing and the evolution of excipients in pharmaceutical production. She highlighted the advantages of continuous manufacturing, including increased output, process optimization, and reduced waste, alongside the pivotal role of co-processed excipients in achieving its full potential.
Mr. Timur Kabadayi, Validation Consultant/PQM at CONVAL, presented the EMA Data Quality Framework (DQF), emphasizing the critical importance of data integrity and quality management throughout the product lifecycle for compliance.
